Mission: Aceocial’s mission is to help young founders build meaningful social capital

Vision: Become the hotspot for young visionaries in the start-up ecosystem.

Our Story

The initiators of Aceocial found each other through serendipity. Before Aceocial was formed, we were just a group of builders that loved connecting with other people. Now, the 7 of us - Frank, Oliver, Shawn, Victor, Michael, Arda, and Parry have come together to build one of our most ambitious projects yet. Each of us comes from distinct backgrounds in tech, finance, logistics, entrepreneurship, and more. We have all spent our time riding the corporate lifecycle and have faced the hardships of building a start-up. From building a global founder community virtually to bringing driven founders together IRL, we realized the importance of a community and now wish to bring one to you — Aceocial.

We all met through the serendipity of mutual connections and built a bond by talking about our ventures and aspirations which led to this desire to create a community of like-minded people.

In the summer of 2022, Frank, Victor, Oliver, and Shawn all met through various conferences and networking events. The most surprising thing was how easy it was to build these bonds and how one single encounter could result in a lifelong friendship.

As founders and builders, we all resonated with how difficult it is to start from nothing. 0 experiences, 0 connections, and 0 capital. Sometimes it’s easy to become complacent and neglect one’s surroundings and how other people could contribute.

When we take a step back, we realized how important social capital is, some problems can be solved with a little help from a friend. We realized the beneficiaries of building connections and how these connections can teach us lifelong lessons.

We want to build Aceocial to help fellow founders build their social capital and realize the power of having connections.
